A scholarly-driven editorial structure that integrates academic expertise with professional publishing management to support high-quality research dissemination across our curated journals and book collections. ASERS Publishing emphasizes editorial independence, peer review integrity, and international collaboration while maintaining rigorous publishing ethics and transparency.
Role: Provides academic leadership, oversees editorial policy, and ensures alignment with COPE publishing ethics and standards.
Role: The Deputy Editors of our Journals provide academic and strategic leadership in their respective disciplinary domains. Working closely with the Editor-in-Chief, they ensure that the journal’s interdisciplinary vision is consistently reflected in editorial decisions, peer review integrity, and long-term research impact. Each Deputy Editor supervises submissions, coordinates thematic special issues, and contributes to expanding the journal’s international collaborations and policy relevance. Support the Editor-in-Chief in coordinating thematic areas, special issues, and peer review quality control.
Core Responsibilities of Deputy Editors
Strategic Oversight: Guide the thematic and methodological direction of the journal.
Editorial Leadership: Supervise the work of Associate Editors and reviewers within their domains.
Quality Assurance: Ensure scientific rigor, originality, and ethical integrity in all published work.
Interdisciplinary Integration: Foster cross-domain collaboration among Journal’s Aims and Scope, Data Science, and the Social Sciences.
Outreach and Visibility: Represent the Journal in international research networks, conferences, and policy dialogues.
Ethics and Transparency: Uphold COPE standards and contribute to Journal’s ongoing alignment with global best practices in scholarly publishing.
All Deputy Editors operate under the direct coordination of the Editor-in-Chief, forming the Editorial Leadership Committee, which: meets quarterly to review journal strategy, performance, and indexing progress; identifies emerging research areas and proposes thematic special issues; ensures balanced representation of disciplines, methodologies, and regions in the publication portfolio.
Role: Supervises submission processing, peer review workflow, and production. Ensures author communication, metadata accuracy, and publication ethics compliance.
Role: The Associate Editors of our Journals oversee the peer review process within their respective disciplinary domains, ensuring methodological rigor, theoretical depth, and policy relevance.
Core Responsibilities of Associate Editors: They play a vital role in advancing Journal’s interdisciplinary mission by integrating perspectives from Journal’s Aims and Scope, and the broader Social, Behavioral, and Computational Sciences.
Role: Our Journals maintain a globally representative board of scholars committed to academic excellence, interdisciplinarity, and ethical research standards.
Role: The Advisory Board provides strategic guidance on emerging research trends, ethics, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Role: Ensures methodological accuracy, statistical robustness, and adherence to open science and FAIR data principles.
Role: ASERS Publishing's Journals maintain each a panel of expert reviewers from over 40 countries, specializing in each Journal Aims and Scope research areas. Reviewers names are published annually to recognize academic contribution and transparency in peer review.
Role: Oversees operational aspects of journal management, including submission systems, production, and publication timelines. The Publisher ensures compliance with publication ethics, open access policies, and indexing standards. ASERS Publishing provides marketing, analytics, and dissemination support to increase journal visibility and impact and coordinates communication between academic editors, authors, and reviewers.
Role: Establish the thematic direction and scholarly coherence of each book series.
Core Responsibilities of Collection Coordinator:
Evaluate book proposals for academic merit, originality, and relevance to the series’ objectives.
Supervise the peer review process for individual volumes and edited collections.
Maintain academic quality and foster collaborations among authors and contributors.
Role: Manage the editorial process for specific edited volumes or monographs.
Core Responsibilities of Academic Editors:
Liaise with contributors to ensure consistency, clarity, and scholarly rigor across chapters.
Oversee revisions based on peer review and editorial feedback.
Ensure compliance with ASERS Publishing’s ethical and formatting standards.
